Alexander went from CEO of Yellow Cab in Topeka, Kansas to an independent owner-operator driving a cab in Springfield, Missouri — and he still drives today. He is a working man, not a career politician: the 9-to-5 America that Washington keeps forgetting, running to represent it.
17 Years in Prison — and a Comeback
Alexander served 17 years behind bars and came home in 2017 a better, more grounded man. His story is living proof of the campaign's core conviction: your past shouldn't block your future. America loves a comeback — and this one is running for the U.S. House of Representatives.
The Independent Who Ran for President
In 2024, Alexander ran for the U.S. House in Missouri's 4th District and for President of the United States as an Independent — registering with the Federal Election Commission, with a public record at Ballotpedia. Now he's running for Congress in Missouri's 7th District in 2028 — and building a brand, I'm for the 99, designed to outlive any single race.

This campaign takes no corporate PAC money, no lobbyist dollars, and no special-interest checks — and its platform would ban the whole game: term limits for all of Congress, an end to insider trading, cut and capped congressional pay, an end to lobbyist influence, and an end to big-business campaign donations. An anti-corruption independent in a safe-seat district: that's a story about what American politics could be.
Building a New Political Party in Missouri
Alexander is forming a new political party in Missouri — the Missouri 99 Party (working name) — gathering the 10,000+ valid voter signatures state law requires to get it on the ballot. A working-class independent building a party from scratch: the petition drive alone is a story.
